Kalinka van de Nachtegaele

Kalinka van de Nachtegaele is one of the most accomplished mares in this collection, combining an exceptional international sport record with an already proven breeding record. Together with Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli, the Epleaser van ’t Heike daughter competed successfully in the Global Champions Tour, earned multiple top placings in five-star Grand Prix’s and World Cups. Together they represented Sweden at the 2021 European Championships in Riesenbeck and in 2022 they won both the World Cup Qualifier as well as the 5* Grand Prix in Helsinki.

Kalinka has already proved her value as a broodmare, producing the approved BWP stallion and 1.55m jumper Qurator van de Nachtegaele (András Jun.Kövy - HUN) and the 1.40m jumper Nestor van de Nachtegaele. Her sire Epleaser van ’t Heike competed at 1.60m level and is a son of For Pleasure out of Valentina van ’t Heike, one of Jos Lansink’s outstanding championship mares. Kalinka’s dam Fleur de Lys, by Cicero Z van Paemel, has also proven herself as an excellent producer, with Kalinka’s siblings including the 1.45m performers Ixy van de Nachtegaele (Leopold van Asten - NED) and Sjeik van de Nachtegaele (Benjamin Lemonnier - FRA).

Dourkhan Hero Z is rapidly establishing himself as one of the most exciting stallions of his generation, combining outstanding five-star performance with exceptional breeding credentials. Together with Christian Ahlmann, the son of Don’t Touch Tiji Hero was Vice World Champion as a seven-year-old at the FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship For Young Horses and has since developed into a successful 1.60m performer, claiming his first CSI5* Grand Prix victory in Hamburg in 2025. His pedigree unites Diamant de Semilly with the legendary Roosakker damline through his dam Zinka de Kalvarie Z, a daughter of Zandor Z out of Inka van ’t Roosakker. Dourkhan Hero Z is also proving his influence as a sire, with more than ten approved sons already emerging from his first crops already.
